No recommendation. More bad than right! Owner of this place only for profit.

Customer service? A foreign word in this restaurant. The waitress brings a tray with wine, comes to the table without saying anything and we talk. When setting down the tray, one of us accidentally bumps into the arm of the operator so that the tray falls down and two people are wet. The waitress is absolutely overwhelmed by the situation and annoyed brings us towels that we use to wipe everything up ourselves. In any other restaurant the waitress would have apologized, wiped everything up and everything would have been fine. Not so here. Because the audacity came afterwards: When paying, the waitress demanded that we pay for the drinks that had dropped. We then consulted with the boss, but he was also completely behind this approach. It's a shame, so the restaurant has lost 9 regular customers who always liked to come by and also like to give away vouchers from there.

Great location in the middle of the old town of Lohr. Most delicious wines, really great food. We particularly recommend the baked ham bread with Camembert or a couple of delicious freshly baked wine corners to shop. There is also an in-house bakery with the most delicious baked goods.

Today, on Father's Day, the cook seems to have drunk a little too much! The Kässpätzle were a complete disaster! The service and the ambience outside were very inviting! Since I am not a meat eater I decided to buy my favorite cheese spaetzle .. To my regret the waitress brought me a plate On which the cheese spaetzle looked like you had eaten it before! The fried onions, which should normally be the topping at the end, had already been cooked, so everything looked very mushy! Really not very tasty! So please dear cook Please pay attention in the future "The eye eats with" ?

Beer very tasty. Great wine selection. Food mediocre. Onion cake with a lot of cumin. Who likes it, good. Schnitzel normal. Not exceptional.

Lovely place with a very pleasant atmosphere and judging from snippets of overheard conversation, well patronized by the locals it seems. Relatively quiet, no piped music just a quiet hum of conversation. Clean, very well looked after by extremely polite friendly welcoming staff. If you love 'Fachwerkheuser' the building and surrounding area are exquisite. Like walking into a Grimm fairy tale.

Perfect food and nice service.

At quiet times, this wine house is a source of rest for required nerves! At peak times you will hardly find regulars there, but also the temporary guests will get good food from the kitchen and cellar, and the service is always friendly and attentive! In general, reward is my recommendation, because here, in the "Snow White City", history and modernity meet. The retail offers a diverse recommended selection!

Magnificent old town center and the Mehling wine house in the middle

These guys make the best schnitzel in Germany and have some delicious wines on offer. Check out the wooden walls inside that still bare the pockmarks from American fire during WWII. Situated right in the centre of town, it makes for a gorgeous setting to enjoy your meal or simply a beer. Good range of eating options, including vegetarian. They also have excellent rustic bread - try the signature wreath croissant (bretzel) or rye bread. The underground cellar occasionally hosts plays and film nights.

Best place in Lohr.

Nothing special as far as the food goes, besides the hair on my plate. I could not complain though, since all waitresses seemed to be having an attitude and barely approached the table.
